The Beltway Outsider

I just measured the snow out on my back deck, it’s 25.5 inches. Out front it looks/feels even deeper, but I always take the official measurements from the back of the house. The snow is up to my knees (I’m 6’3″) and earlier today when I saw some kids playing the snow was up past their thighs!  Also noticed several people fall but the deep snow cushioned the fall so much that they came up laughing and grinning.
